Hello! My name is Rachel Pelosi and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor- Supervisor. I started my journey in the mental health field in 2009, graduating from Kent State University with a master’s degree in Community Counseling. I have worked in a variety of settings including school, community, and private practice, serving clients from child through adulthood.
I utilize various treatment modalities and techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy approaches to meet individual client needs. Additionally, I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, used to treat clients struggling with PTSD and trauma. Beyond educational and professional training, I am a skilled listener, patient, and supportive.
I collaborate with clients to assist them with developing tools to improve their lives and address the following concerns:
